Built around a dual-orientation layout, The Sidekick combines the utility of both vertical and horizontal carry systems into a single compact object designed to remain minimal without sacrificing functionality. The layered three-pocket construction keeps cards, folded cash, and small daily essentials organized inside a slim profile shaped for front pocket carry and repeated everyday use. A quick-access thumb cutout allows for fast card retrieval while preserving the clean geometry and tactile simplicity of the object. Each piece is handcrafted in small batches using full-grain vegetable-tanned leather and finished inside Cuervo Viejo Studio in Colorado. Over time, the leather softens, darkens, marks, and develops a patina unique to its owner through handling and everyday carry. The Sidekick and The Wingman were designed as companion carry systems within the Cuervo Viejo Studio collection. The Wingman emphasizes layered wrap construction and simplified organization.
