Glycerin and sorbitol help retain moisture during washing, while the fatty acid base gives the bar its characteristic richness and structure. Its fragrance remains close to the skin, unfolding with a measured aromatic presence that persists after rinsing. The Soap Rest provides the bar with a simple architectural support. Formed from continuous wire, it raises the soap from the sink surface, creating space beneath and around it for water to escape and air to circulate. There is no enclosing tray or excess material; the construction is reduced to what is necessary for the object to function. Together, the soap and rest establish a complete cleansing ritual governed by the same principle: nothing incidental, nothing concealed. One is made to be used, the other to preserve its condition between uses. Placed at the sink, they form a quiet composition of solid form, open structure, and considered utility.
