Art prints from the original acrylic painting. In the foreground are the backyards of Wood Street, on the east end of Duckworth Street, downtown St. John’s, Newfoundland. This was my second painting incorporating drips using washes of colour vs. thick paint, as a continuing theme in many of my later paintings. For me, this piece is about the spaces between the houses and in the windows that are as interesting as the houses themselves. Due to this and one of my fave songs by The Dave Matthews Band, the title was born! Show more
