They do not want to explain anything. They do not want to analyze their lyrics, characterized by misanthropy and social criticism. The band pursues only one simple goal: to let their music speak for itself. Only two and a half years after the self-release of their debut (re-released on Nuclear Blast in August 2018), the trio from Saarbrücken, Germany, announces the completion of their second studio effort, due to be released via AOP Records. After a busy year of 2018, packed with release shows at the German Party.San and Summer Breeze festivals as well as an extensive European tour with Hypocrisy and Kataklysm, bandleader and songwriter M.T. entered the Woodshed Studios in the spring of 2019, to record this sophomore release with producer V. Santura (Triptykon, Dark Fortress). Previously, the drums have been tracked at the Iguana Studio in Baden-Württemberg. The result are seven raging anthems, consisting of a unique blend of black and death metal, extensive instrumental passages and genuine guitar work - which even attracted nearby snakes to the studio's terrace during the recording. And M.T.’s lifelong passion for prog rock can also not be denied at certain moments of the record. Finalized with a unique cover artwork by French ”Metastazis”-artist Valnoir, "Cosmic Terror" tears the listener into a musical catharsis. From the melodically fast-paced 'Serpent As Time Reveals', via 'Strive for Salvation', the album moves forward to the misanthropic hate manifesto 'Repugnant Human Scum' before the rage gives way to melancholy and despair on 'The Path Of Solitude' and the catchy 'Pillars Of Doom'. On 'The Wide Emptiness', the band once again adds its own soundtrack to the fear of vast nothingness, before the instrumental title track exceeds all genre boundaries and culminates in a futuristic momentum with drummer M.S. once again showing his qualities far beyond blast beats and double bass.
