The Type 2 DIY Detail Ceramic Coatings are now PFAS free, so no forever chemicals. We have a new instant bond technology, taking the guesswork out of leveling. And you can wash with DIY Detail Incredible Suds or DIY Detail Rinseless Wash after 3 days of application. Vehicle can be driven 1 hour after application either rain or shine. Here’s what you need to know about application. There’s a window of opportunity to stack coatings, 1-8 hours. Before the 1 hour mark, the 3-year will damage the other coating you’ve already applied. In the window of opportunity (1-8 hours after applying that first layer of coating), the two mix together to become another coating — enhancing the properties of both. What happens after 8 hours?
