This is a beautiful print of the original graphite piece, The Stand. Created on Canson 160mg Cartridge Paper. It comes lovingly wrapped and in a number of variations. This piece wa s drawn at a time that was really emotionally challenging for me and I was drawn to this beautiful stag. His antlers are damaged but he has an immovable expression that speaks of resilience and victory. It reminds me of this bible passage that at certain times, give me the courage and hope to keep looking up and to keep on my feet, as this too, will soon pass. It comes framed (frame measurements are A2). 2 Corinthians 4:8-9, 16-18 We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen.
