Reckless landed in 2010 just before Chris Stapleton's departure made it, in hindsight, a document of something singular and unrepeatable. The chemistry between Stapleton's raw, ung uarded baritone and the band's hard-driving string arrangements had already earned the group a Grammy nod for their debut, and this follow-up showed a group still deepening that sound rather than coasting on it. Available for the first time on vinyl, the SteelDrivers’ GRAMMY-nominated sophomore record, Reckless, picks up where their eponymous debut left off. Originally released in 2010, it’s the Nashville group’s last album with singer/songwriter Chris Stapleton at the helm, who left the band later that same year to pursue his solo career.
