The Stink Horn This fungus pendant is carved after the species Phallus impudicus A strange and stinky fungus that gets both its common and latin names from its smell and naughty sh ape. These fungi despite their grotesque smell of rotting egg and meat they are unusually awesome for the fungal kingdom. The smell is no accident and comes from a substance called gleba that attract flies and other insects that then get covered in the sticky smelly stuff, and this contains the spores which then helps the fungus to reproduce!
