A mid-century landscape study, oil on board, presented in a gilt wooden frame. The composition shows a loosely rendered rolling countryside under a band of heavy cloud, painted in broad, expressive strokes. Soft greens dominate the foreground, with hints of blue and rust suggesting buildings and a winding path. The palette is muted and atmospheric, typical of informal studio sketches from the period. Oil on board by Leo Thellefsen (1909 - 1997). Signed in monogram, lower left. Dimensions 33x43cm framed. Show more
