Description: A very good copy of O'Flaherty's novel is said to be based on the assassination of Kevin O'Higgins, Ireland's first Minister for Justice in 1927. Binding tight and squ are. The original boards are clean and bright apart from the spine which has faded but the gilt lettering is bright. Internally clean apart from a few spots to endpapers. Signed by the author on front-end paper. The dust jacket is good with some loss to the top and bottom of the spine.
