Place the Seam Guide Ruler under your presser foot, lower the needle into the correct hole, and press the Magnetic Seam Guide against the ruler on the needle plate. Remove the ruler — the magnet stays as your guide. Use the standalone Magnetic Seam Guide as a dedicated second guide if working on multiple machines or seam widths simultaneously.
