The United States Book The United States Book lays out the country so your child can move through it—state by state, region by region—with maps, illustrations, and short sections that show how places, people, and history connect. Each spread explores something different. One page highlights a state and its landmarks. Another zooms out to feature national parks, major rivers, industries, or cities. Your child can open anywhere and begin exploring without following a set order. History, culture, civics, and geography appear side by side. Your child sees how the colonies formed, how the government is structured, and how different regions developed over time—all in short, visual sections that are easy to revisit. Because the format is highly visual, your child gradually builds a mental map of the country. Locations connect. Patterns emerge. Places stop existing as isolated facts and begin fitting into a larger picture. This isn't a comprehensive U.S. history course.
