There is a particular kind of silence that lives in the outback, wide, unhurried, and ancient. The Vast Between attempts to hold that feeling: the endless stretch of red dirt meeti ng a flat horizon, heat shimmering and dripping in the air, and the unlikely tenderness of wildflowers pushing through it all.
