This is the Warning Book. The 'Warning' sticker lives on phones, mirrors, cats, car keys, faces, suitcases, money, newspapers, perishable goods and more. All the images in this book have been downloaded from the Warning. Camera Instagram page. These are images that were posted between August 2019 and October 2022, including images that were posted twice. Each image includes the alt text entry for that post. Alt text is text that is created by object detection technology that provides visual description of images for people with visual impairments. The alt text in this book has not been edited, and includes misspellings and misreadings of images, as well as misplacement of alt text to wrong images. All systems have errors. At its core ‘Warning’ is about our relationship with images vs/and our relationship with ourselves. Outside of that core idea, it's a portrait of today. 'Warning!
