Built around a structured flap construction, The Westfield combines compact proportions with expanded organization, concealed storage, and a more architectural internal layout while maintaining a clean everyday carry profile. Layered panel transitions, curved geometry, and integrated storage create a more tactile organizational experience shaped around movement, repetition, and daily use. Each piece is handcrafted in small batches using full-grain vegetable-tanned leather and finished inside Cuervo Viejo Studio in Colorado. Over time, the leather softens, darkens, marks, and develops a patina unique to its owner through handling and repeated use. The Westfield and The Eastland exist as companion bifold systems within the Cuervo Viejo Studio collection. The Eastland focuses on cleaner traditional organization and balanced structure. The Westfield explores layered construction, concealed organization, and more expressive panel transitions while maintaining a shared proportional language and carry philosophy. Different organizational behavior. Shared design philosophy. Some editions remain restrained and monochromatic. Others explore engraving, layered surface treatment, mixed materials, contrast stitching, symbolism, or experimental visual language while maintaining the same recognizable silhouette. The silhouette remains stable. The identity evolves through material, surface, and use.
