Ther-Biotic® InterFase® Plus combines the same unique enzyme formulation found in Ther-Biotic® InterFase® with ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA). The presence of calcium, iron, and magnesium is essential for biofilm creation and serves to cross-link the anionic regions of polymers. Ther-Biotic® InterFase® Plus includes EDTA, which binds the metals needed for biofilm formation. Ther-Biotic®InterFase® Plus can be used for maximum antibiofilm activity.† ? Benefits and Features EDTA binds the metals needed for biofilm formation for anti-biofilm activity† Helps degrade bacterial and yeast cell wall structures† Encourages healthy intestinal microbial communities† Biofilms are protective encasements formed by microorganisms making them highly resistant to antimicrobials. Ther-Biotic®InterFase® Plus is a unique enzyme formulation designed to break up the biofilm matrix that embeds the GI organisms along with EDTA to bind biofilm-forming metals.†
