This 17.5"x14" quote says it all! Hand made Haitian metal art. Using a recycled 55-gallon oil drums, Haitian artists cut and flatten the oil drum. Then with chalk, the design is dr awn onto the metal sheet. Using a hammer, chisel and various primitive tools, the shape is cut and the various decorative patterns are pounded into the metal, creating a unique piece of amazing art. The finished design is signed by the artist and coated with a protective finish.*Note: No two pieces are alike. When receiving your pieces they all vary slightly in size and color and some have more Haitian accents to them then others.
