'They Want FX' is a collection of over 180 vintage sci-fi inspired analog sound effects samples for music producers! The effects include lifters, risers, shifters and blips inspired by hip-hop producers such as The Alchemist, Madlib, Mike Dean, Pete Rock, Outkast, J Dilla, Adrian Younge, Beat Butcha and 9th Wonder. These are sounds I use in my own productions as well. Equipment used includes monophonic and paraphonic Moog synthesizers, Arturia Polybrute (steiner and ladder filters), Moog BBD delay, Roland Space Echo with Spring Reverb, and analog guitar pedals; recorded thru 1176 compressor.
