The Thin Ouroboros Ring is a narrow band in 925 sterling silver formed as an ouroboros, the ancient figure of a serpent swallowing its own tail, known from Egyptian and Greek sources onward. The snake's body makes up the whole band, tapering from the head down to the tail it takes in its mouth.Because the figure is the ring and not an ornament placed on one, the closed circle of the band is doing the work the symbol describes. The ouroboros stands for cycles that return on themselves, for endings that are also beginnings, worn as a symbol rather than as a religious piece.
