If you'd like your entire necklace to look and feel substantial, select the thickest chain your pendant can support. I also offer two different finishes because I think that is also very important. Rhodium plating is a lovely finish over sterling silver that is not only hypo-allergenic, but also darkens the silver, which is great for pendants that have oxidation, patina or just a darker feel overall.
