Spike Me Barnacles, There's Treasure to Uncover! In 1718, notorious pirate Spike Barnacle retired to Lyme Regis at the venerable age of 55, his pirate days behind him and a hoard of gold stashed away as his hard-earned pension. One of Spike's distant descendants, a great-great-great (times six!) grandchild, has come forward with a request for help.
