The original flag appears to have been local production and made from silk. No unit ID is known to the colors. It is believed that they were associated with the coastal defense of North Carolina, but it is unclear as to the sourcing (there is varying speculation as to the original provenance of the flag). The flag was donated to the Cape Fear Museum. The patch was produced by TEXAS 144.1 - Weaponized.Design as part of a custom project. Please checkout their products here.
