This Is England is a photo zine by British photographer Homer Sykes published by Poursuite editions 2014. Softcover, 32pg. B&W 8.7" x 5.9" "As a freelance photographer in the early 1970s, Sykes worked for magazines such as The Observer, The Telegraph, Time or Newsweek and covered the conflicts in the Middle East or Northern Ireland. But he quickly turned to his own country, questioning the British customs. The first twenty years of his career were for him a true immersion in the daily life, folklore and mutations of a society in crisis, beset by doubt and reinventing itself through a pop-rock culture."
