A long time former winemaker at Tyrrell's, Andrew Thomas has long been regarded as one of the Hunter Valley's leading winemakers. With a focus on the region's hero varietals; Semillon and Shiraz, Thomas regularly delivers highly acclaimed benchmark examples. The 2025 Thomas Synergy Semillon is a blend of quality, old-vine Semillon sourced throughout the Hunter Valley. The majority of Synergy Semillon blend is from the Braemore vineyard, with the balance from the Brycefield and Fordwich Hill vineyards. The fruit was all fermented in stainless steel. The palate offers flavours of citrus, ripe pear and melon fruit, with a lengthy, subliminally taut acidity providing a pleasing freshness to the finish. An absolute perfect accompaniment to fresh seafood dishes.
