Tex 40 is a multi-purpose thread that is strong and smooth. Sturdier than our other multi-purpose threads we recommend Tex 40 for sportswear, home decor, dolls and other products that will take some wear and tear. Colored thread will not bleed or fade and the colors are not effected by washing.Tex 40 and Tex 70 in Natural color have not been lightened or dyed. The cotton has simply been washed and spun, to support manufacturers who piece dye and for the safety of our customers with MCS.
