Whether you want to upgrade your existing press or purchase a different length, our new precision engineered stainless steel threaded rods are available here seperately. Our new de sign features precision cut threads and a thread-less section at each end to allow the hubndles/nuts to spin on and off the rod easily. All of our presses are designed around the same M8 diameter and thread pitch so these rods can be usedwith any of our presses, including our frame and hub presses, over-axle presses, bottom bracket presses and headset cup press (the one exception is our over-axle presses for 10mm and 12mm bearings; these use a smaller 5mm threaded rod which is available on request). These rods can be used with the T-bar handles or simple nuts. We also offer a 5mm diameter threaded rod for use with 10mm and 12mm over-axle presses. Note that this 5mm rod is a simpler design than the 8mm rod described above, made from zinc-plated steel and without the machined ends. Show more
