Males display soft shades of yellow, blue, and red with elegant finnage that flows beautifully in gentle current, while females remain more subtle in colour. Best suited to planted aquariums with calm tankmates, Threadfins thrive in well-established tanks with gentle filtration and plenty of plant cover. They are peaceful schooling fish that feel most secure in groups, where males will display to one another, showcasing their flowing fins and subtle iridescence.
