“Three Layers” is one of my earlier style work, which is creating a brick wall with several overlapping advertising signs. This one shows a 1985 ad for Reebok with a player dunking behind his head. It was painted by Reebok for a national basketball tournament to be played in Kansas City. Interesting that it was covering a series of Historic signs, including a Scotch Oats sign using its signature Scottsman in Kilts. Its paint over Dr. Price’s Flour. On the left side is a sign for Granger twist tobacco. Show more
