This generous three-tier, oak, drop-leaf table will be a much-valued piece in the family dining room, lounge or other relaxing space in the home. The solid oak table-top extends an d is supported on either side by arms that pull out from the frame, enabling both sides to be raised and supported securely. This flexibility means the top is large enough to serve refreshments when entertaining guests but can also be stowed away neatly when not required.The two shelves below provide ample space to accommodate tea, coffee, light refreshments, additional crockery, sweets and desserts. In a previous life, this table was a serving trolley and had four castors fitted to the bottom. There is evidence of its faithful service from the past with plenty of marks and stains on display, which add to its overall character. We have shown these in the photos. Our restoration workshop has stripped and cleaned this piece before applying a clear lacquer, which accentuates the beauty of the natural oak and provides protection. This table is constructed from solid oak. The two shelves are plywood. With natural light oak colour and grain, this drop-leaf table is as attractive as it is practical and is sure to be a much-used and admired item for many years to come.
