Three Waves - a collection of waves from the ocean, hands and collaboration send the planet Neptune up the waves and into the universe. This artwork speaks to the importance of a d iverse community collaborating to preserve our most precious resources. My grandmother’s stewardship of the Columbia Valley Wetlands influences me to increasingly consider the sustainability of the source, processing, and disposal of materials in my art practice. Sourcing plastic free materials and responsible packaging, and repurposing magazines, books and textiles are all part of my efforts to lessen the environmental impact of my art. Show more
