The 3 Legged Thing Mike Carbon Fiber Tripod Legs with Quick Leveling Base is part of the Legends range and is for flat-base tripod heads with either a 1/4"-20 or 3/8"-16 threaded m ounting hole. It is a carbon fiber leveling-base tripod, with friction control on the underside to finely adjust the position of the leveling base. The 3-section removable legs have a height range of 5.3 to 58.07" and are made from eight layers of carbon fiber and feature twist-lock leg locks with an improved shim system for greater strength.The Rapid-Latch Angle adjustment system allows you to quickly set the angle of each leg independently, even when wearing gloves. All three legs are detachable, allowing you to use the quick leveling system, with optional accessories, as the base for a high hat for low angle shots, or for working on a tabletop setup. Each detached leg can be used as a monopod or as a boom arm. With three detachable legs, the Mike tripod can be converted to a tabletop tripod by using optional 3LT footwear, and the legs can be used as as monopods or boom arms. The leveling base incorporates a bubble level and allows you to quickly level your head on the tripod, even when working on uneven terrain. A D-ring on the bottom of the base enables attaching weight to the legs for increased stability and also allows you to adjust the friction on the leveling base. The Rapid-Latch angle adjustment system was designed to be easy to use, even for those with impairments or those wearing thick gloves. The twist-lock leg locks feature 3 Legged Thing's O-Pads, which provide improved grip, torque, and water dispersement.
