'Through The Trees' - Original piece (2020) Mixed media on box canvas. 500 x 1000 mm. Piece Information: This design was originally inspired by a scene from the start of the book W hite Fang, one of my favorite books growing up. However, as I was making it I thought about lots of things - the effects of light pollution on our horizon. The vastness of a moonlit night sky full of stars. The way light can blind your eyes to darkness. The fragile war between fear and wonder. This was my first large scale mixed media piece, using both painting and drawing techniques to create it.
