Hand-built by Holy Lamb Organics with premium eco wool layered in an organic sateen case, these wonderful throw pillows are offered in two sizes. This product ships in a sturdy cardboard box secured with paper tape. We don't use plastic wrap or synthetic packing materials in the box. If you'd like a little extra protection, you can request your product be placed inside a biodegradable bag before boxing. Small - 18" x 18", approx. 26 oz wool weight Large - 22" x 22", approx. 40 oz wool weight This is a handmade product. Please check our shipping page for current lead times. A Note About Sizing - It is industry standard to calculate throw pillow measurement before the encasement is stuffed with the fill material. Therefore, an 18" x 18" throw pillow measures 16" x 16" when finished, allowing it to fit into an 18" x 18" pillow sham. The 22" x 22" size measures 20" x 20" when finished and fits into a 22" x 22" pillow sham. This pillow is made using our 100% organic cotton fabric and filled with our Premium Eco Wool. We only use organic cotton, natural and organic wool, or all-natural latex. Everything that goes in to making every Holy Lamb product comes to us from nature. You won't find synthetic materials or chemical additives in anything we create. Our cotton is grown in India, then milled and finished in a GOTS-certified facility in Pakistan. Never bleached or dyed, our fabric is naturally soft and durable - And it's all certified 100% organic. We offer a pristine natural wool sourced from a co-op of small sheep farmers in the western US, and a GOTS-certified organic option from New Zealand. None of our wool is ever carbonized or bleached, and sheep dipping is never practiced. Sunning your pillow periodically will keep it refreshed and revitalize the wool. Pillow is spot clean only. Separate case is machine washable in cold water, line dry or tumble dry low. The scent of wool - Our wool, both natural and organic, is cleaned and processed naturally without the use of harsh chemicals. That's why you may notice the mild sweet scent of sunny farm pastures when you receive your new wool product. The wool retains 1% of the naturally occurring lanolin oil, which helps condition the fibers and keep them fluffy and soft for years to come. Most customers find the scent dissipates within a few days.
