Under the expert guidance of our experienced instructors, you'll learn everything from wedging the clay to centring, opening up the hole, pulling up the walls, and shaping your pieces with precision. What you'll get One-to-one tutor One wheel per student The price includes clay, glaze and firing One piece for you to take home Add-on available Second pieces (£8) Add-on Handle or Decoration (£5) Knowledge required This class is suitable for anyone without any experience in pottery What to bring Fingernails should be kept short Please wear comfortable clothing that you don't mind getting a bit of clay on Please feel free to bring water or drinks Please Note Due to the nature of clay, results may differ from expectation, including but not limited to: The glaze on your pottery may vary from the examples provided, and the examples are for reference only. The texture you create on your pottery may not be visible in the final result. Due to the nature of the clay, your pottery may appear smaller than what you created in the class, as there is a 15% shrinkage during firing. Your pottery may not be completely cleaned and may have small lumps of clay on it. Please be aware that your pottery may have cracks or explode during the firing process. Once your piece is finished, we will send email notifications. Please pick it up within a month. If not, it may be disposed of due to limited shelf space.
