The THROWING VELOCITY KIT is designed to build the strength and stability needed to increase throwing velocity. By adding targeted resistance to the arm and lower legs, athletes strengthen key muscle groups involved in the throwing motion while maintaining natural mechanics. Total starting resistance: 4 lbs wearable micro resistance. Powerful and safe throwing relies on the kinetic chain, where force is generated from the ground and transferred through the legs, hips, core, and finally the arm. When one segment of the chain is weak, velocity and efficiency are limited. Training with distributed wearable resistance strengthens these key segments while allowing athletes to move naturally through the throwing motion. Because the resistance is spread across the body instead of concentrated in the hand, athletes can train with overload while reducing stress on the elbow and shoulder. The system is designed for progressive resistance training. Athletes can begin with lighter loads to maintain proper mechanics and gradually increase resistance as their strength and control improve. Each kit includes: Full Length KILOGEAR PRO ARM SLEEVES (Pair)Adds resistance to the arm during throwing to help develop arm strength and endurance while maintaining natural mechanics. Each sleeve contains five weight pockets and can hold up to 1.25 pounds of resistance per arm. The kit includes KILOMICRO™ weights that allow athletes to distribute resistance across both arms or load the throwing arm during velocity focused drills. Full Length KILOGEAR PRO CALF SLEEVES (Pair)Provide resistance to the lower legs to help strengthen the muscles that contribute to drive, balance, and stability during the throwing motion. The sleeves hold KILOMAX™ weights that allow athletes to build lower body strength that supports efficient force transfer during throwing. KILOMICRO™ WeightsEach weight is 0.25 pounds and slide into the weight pockets to create adjustable resistance for upper body training. Weights are sold in packs of two. This kit includes 4 packs of two, allowing the athlete to start with 1/2 pound per arm and scale to .75 LB per arm, to 1 pound per arm and possibly scale higher. KILOMAX™ WeightsEach weight is 0.50 pounds and easily slide into the built-in calf sleeve pockets to provide adjustable resistance for lower body training. Weights are sold in packs of two. This kit includes 2 packs of two, allowing the athlete to start with 1/2 pound per leg and scale to 1 LB per leg, to 1.5 pounds per leg.
