This purchase includes a BC Strength Thruster Bar and a a set of 2 x 45lb BC Strength Thruster Plates. The BC Strength Thruster Bar is the ideal choice for heavier hip thrust movements. It can be loaded up heavier than our Thruster Bar Lite, but its shorter length still assists in creating a more stable exercise. The BC Strength Thruster Bar can also be used for other standard barbell exercises. The BC Strength Thruster Bar holds standard Olympic plates (inside diameter of 2"). The BC Strength Thruster Plates are an extra 3 inches in diameter compared to standard plates. Even if you have big thighs and are using a squat sponge, you can comfortably get into position and get your thrust on. No more awkwardness! An added benefit is that the plates naturally serve as a "jack" or elevated loading pin in that you can pile on additional weight with ease. A final advantage of the BC Strength Thruster Plates is that you can perform "block pulls" with them without any blocks. The 1.5 inch elevation is great for people with limited hip flexion mobility who can't get into proper deadlift position without rounding their low back.
