This unit replace the entire top section the Yamaha start stop except you will need to remove your re d and green buttons and the rubber seal or they can be purchase separately as well . then you will just need to install them into you need switch housing that has the built in EZ Start which allows a lanyard key to pivot over the kill switch for Emergency start in surf conditions where your lanyard cannot be quickly recovered or for Diagnostic work on Trailers or cart and even can be used for flushing your ski when a lanyard isn’t handy .
