Thuja rheingold is a slow growing evergreen conifer that develops a narrow conical shape with flat sprays of tiny scaly leaves and knobbly cones. Develops distinct bronze-tinged am ber foliage that becomes a much more pronounced colour in winter. Rheingold is an extremely popular variety due to it's eye-catching colour which makes it ideal for a small garden or in the middle of a border, it is happiest in a fully sunny position featuring well drained soil.
