The Thule Vector - Alpine long and low profile making it the perfect roof box for transporting Snowsports equipment such as skis or snowboards. With the middle capacity of the range, the Vector - Alpine is still a capable roof top box. Designed to be simple to fit to a range of vehicles and roof rack types Thule have fitted the Vector with their PowerClick claw clamps. These torque limited clamps "click-off" when reaching the correct tension ensuring correct mounting every time. Before tensioning the Vector can be adjusted forward on your roof rack to reduce the chance of roof box to car boot contact. Loading or unloading the Vector - Alpine is a simple task no matter the light conditions, with a white lid interior and included LED lights to increase luggage visibility in low light/darkness. The dual side opening system allows access into the roof box from whichever side is easiest. To protect your luggage from scratches or damage the base of the Vector - Alpine is felt lined, with strap tie down points to secure your luggage within the roof box during transportation. For Maximum security during transportation or when leaving the roof box unattended Thule have fitted the Vector - Alpine with their SlideLock multipoint locking system, this uses both audible and visual indicators to confirm that the roof box is correctly fastened through all of its locking points. Only at this point can the barrel lock be turned to lock the SlideLock system and the key removed. To keep your Vector - Alpine in top condition when it is not in use Thule supply the roof box with a Box Lid Cover which protects the Box's glossy lid from scratches when in storage.
