The Thule VeloSpace XT is a versatile tow bar mounted bike carrier suitable for taking a range of bikes from e-bikes and Fat bikes to kids bikes thanks to its high load capacity. With a minimal lift required to load and unload bikes the Velospace XT 2 ideal for use with heavy bikes. Thule also make a loading ramp which will completely remove the need to lift your bike. Thule have given the Velospace XT 2 a tilt function to still allows access to the boot even with bikes loaded. A simple to use towball securing system with easy mounting and adjustment of the Velospace XT before closing the tightening handle. This is all thanks to the towbar coupling initial stability which helps with quicker towbar mounting/coupling. You can adjust the coupling before closing the side mounted handle and locking the carrier to your towball. Securing your bikes to the Velospace XT 2 is quick and easy, using frame mounting detachable bike arms along with Thules AcuTight torque limiter knobs, these click when optimal torque is reached. To secure bike wheels Thule have given the Velospace XT range pump buckles with extra long wheel straps allowing for up to 4.7" wheels (perfect for FatBikes). With the addition of the Thule VeloSpace XT Bike Adapter (sold separately), you can make the Velospace XT 2 from a 2 bike carrier into a 3 bike Towbar mounted carrier.
