English duo Thumpers burst onto the scene with their debut album Galore, released by Sub Pop in 2014. Blending rock sensibilities with uplifting, extroverted melodies and energetic production, the album captures the band’s distinctive percussive and motormouthed sound. Highlights like “Come on Strong” showcase Thumpers’ knack for crafting anthemic hooks layered over insistent drums and glimmering instrumentals. Galore stands as a vibrant and charming snapshot of the band’s early vision, making it a memorable entry in the modern rock landscape.
