Before assembly every single shortblock has a final clean in our industry leading ultrasonic cleaner, and followed with a white-glove hand clean. Every single shortblock is hand assembled in our environmentally controlled engine clean room which features dedicated air handling and is kept at 68F year round. Our Stage 2 street shortblocks are the next logical progression in addressing the next common OEM part failure beyond Stage 1. Typically known as a built bottom end or a rod and piston motor our street motors are a balance of budget and performance. If you're looking for more power than what our Stage 1 motor can support, desire a better engine geometry, daily drive your car, and are budget limited these are great solutions that will meet your needs.
