Don’t you just love a walk along the beach as the tide is going out? These Tidal Pool Earrings were inspired by walks along the beach at low tide, cratered everywhere with tidal po ols. The solid sterling silver disks are handcut, then hammered to reflect the dimpling in the wet sand. Balls of 18 karat gold are sunny reflections in each puddle. I used 14 karat gold-bezeled and rosecut London Blue Topaz and peridot, as well as a Swiss blue topaz cabochon within the circles, just as a beachcomber would find colorful ocean animals, shells, and other treasures.
