Reed diffusers come with 16 reeds. We recommend using six to eight of the reeds at a time. Due to everyday particulate in the air such as dust and sand, reeds can become clogged weakening the scent throw. We recommend replacing the reeds at the 3-4 month mark with the remaining reed sticks. ~ Use a coaster under your reed diffuser to protect your surfaces. ~ Do not light the reeds. ~ Place in a high traffic area. This encourages air circulation and lifts the fragrance. ~ Keep out of reach of children and pets ~ When the reeds have diffused the oil or you are ready to change the scent, carefully discard the remnants in a garbage receptacle. ~ We do not recommended cutting the reeds as they are designed to wick the fragrance and by doing so it could crush the ends diminishing the ability to disperse the fragrance.
