A study in movement and tension, the Tidebound Orbit Cuff is formed from hand-shaped strands of silver and blackened aluminum that spiral inward before opening again. The compositi on feels both architectural and organic—like currents crossing beneath the surface of dark water. Bold yet surprisingly light to wear, its layered construction creates depth from every angle, revealing new lines and shadows as it moves with the body. The contrast between bright silver and oxidized black lends the piece a sculptural presence that feels equally at home with linen, cashmere, or evening attire. Handcrafted by the artist, Ivan Midzic, each piece reflects a practice spanning jewelry and fine art. Raw metals are used in their natural state, with the marks of making intentionally preserved. A light protective coating is applied; subtle tonal shifts may occur depending on skin chemistry and environment. Variations in form and finish are inherent—and part of what makes each piece unique.
