The TIDI Posey HeadStart Notification Bed Sensor is a belt-like sensor that is fastened to the fall-risk patient and alerts nurses or caregivers when that patient attempts to exit a bed unassisted. It's compatible with Posey Alarms and available in two sizes to accommodate a wide variety of patients. The TIDI Posey HeadStart Notification Bed Sensor features an inner Orthowick layer, which has moisture-wicking abilities and softness that's gentle on sensitive skin. It's also easy to wipe clean and safely low friction, as well as user-friendly for caregivers to apply with a hook-and-loop fastener. In an emergency, the patient can self-release from the sensor belt. In normal circumstances, the first release will trigger the alarm alert, and a secondary release will provide some time for the nurse or caregiver to react before exiting.
