A high elevation Oolong from Central Taiwan where ideal growing conditions allow tea gardens to thrive at 7500 feet. The cultivar used is qing xin, which adapted well to this mount ainous terrain. Handpicking and processing of the tea limits production size, adding to the scarcity of this celebrated tea. For a total tea experience start by rinsing the brewing vessel first with water close to boiling before adding the tightly rolled leaves.
