This Tiffany & Co. Split Second Five Minute Repeater is a very rare piece because of the compilation combination. This also has a stop mechanism for the chronograph which prevents it from being engage accidentally while being worn. What makes this even more rare is the smaller size of it. It is up for discussion based on the rarity if this is a #patekphilippe base caliber movement or a full in house Tiffany production. It has a great #Geneva stripe finish on the #chronograph bridge and a mixture of perlage and geneva stripe finish on the lower plate. The movement was most likely modified by the factory to make originally a larger diameter movement smaller. This has a nice and thick solid 18k gold case. It is triple signed Tiffany & Co. The dial and hands are in pristine condition especially when age in taken into consideration. The case shows a few signs of wear with smaller dents on it and has a engraving on the outer case back.
