Use Condition: Match the tungsten type and diameter to the process, material, amperage, torch setup, and product manual before use. Welding Gloves Basic Hand Coverage Added Hand Coverage. Adds a basic protective layer for suitable welding tasks while supporting routine material and torch handling. Safety Note: Inspect the gloves before use and confirm they are suitable for the process, heat level, and task; other PPE remains required. Best-Fit Applications Mixed aluminum, mild-steel, stainless-steel, and copper TIG work using the correct process, tungsten, and filler metal. Repeated TIG shop work that benefits from spare tungsten and compatible torch service parts. Fabrication where foot-pedal current control helps respond to changing joint geometry or heat buildup. Maintenance and repair work where bundled hand coverage, pedal control, and torch-support parts add convenience. Occasional Stick repairs using separately purchased compatible electrodes; the foot pedal is not used in Stick mode. How to Use the Kit 1 Match the welding process, tungsten, and separately purchased filler metal to the base material and joint requirements. 2 Connect the welder, WP-26 torch, work clamp, specified gas equipment, and a filled 100% argon cylinder according to the product manual. 3 Disconnect input power before attaching the foot pedal. Connect it as directed in the manual, restore power, then select AC TIG or DC TIG for the applicable material. 4 Prepare the selected tungsten correctly, set gas flow and welding parameters, and test the settings on matching scrap material. 5 Use the pedal for TIG current control and install parts from the 71-piece kit only when they match the torch setup. 6 Wear the included gloves with a properly rated welding helmet, protective clothing, and all other task-appropriate PPE. Additional Equipment Still Required A filled 100% argon cylinder, compatible input circuit and outlet, correctly matched TIG filler metal, a properly rated welding helmet, protective clothing, and other task-appropriate PPE are still required. Compatible Stick electrodes are required for Stick welding.
