Airfix 1/76 Tiger 1 A02342 Recreate the might of the German Tiger I with the Airfix AX02342 model kit. When introduced in the autumn of 1942, the Tiger I was the most advanced tank in the world, designed to dominate the battlefield with its unmatched firepower and armour. Its powerful gun allowed it to destroy enemy tanks before they could return fire, giving it a formidable stand-off advantage. Despite its superior design, the Tiger I was over-engineered and costly to produce, with only 1,347 units manufactured between 1942 and 1944. This limited production meant the Tiger I could not counterbalance the overwhelming numbers of Allied tanks, such as the American Sherman, which saw over 49,000 produced during the war. This detailed 1:76 scale model kit captures the iconic design of the Tiger I, offering a rewarding and historically significant project for modellers of all levels.
